We should all have a hobby that we enjoy. Personally. I love making songs for kids. I enjoy the entire process. My son enjoys putting Lego sets together. You may enjoy cooking, sewing, sketching, or trying out make-up combinations. Whatever your hobby is, it’s yours. It’s what you love to do. Why not do it more? There are thousands of business owners that are successful by doing things that had as hobbies; even as a kid. Hobbies encourage us to be creative, motivate us to try new things, and relax us in ways that can’t be matched.
When you give your favorite hobby as much as time you give other things, you will find that your skills in that hobby will increase. This is happening because your are actually gaining knowledge and experience through practicing the things that you love. Try to find find as much time as you can. You will improve your health and be in a better mood more often. As you get better, this may even turn into a nice business for you.

Each morning I get my day stared with a healthy juice that I make myself. That’s right. I buy fruits and veggies and juice them right in my kitchen. The whole family enjoys a tasty and healthy treat.
The juice is so delicious and it gives me a great and energetic start to my day. I can attack my difficult tasks first, be more focused in meetings, and interact with people a lot better. It helps me work on my six pack abs (that I don’t have yet) by cleaning my body from the inside out. I encourage you to ask your parents or, if you are a parents, make some yourself.
Check this out. Our bodies need nutrients to function properly and keep you energized at all times. There are a few simple ways to achieve this. 1. Eating properly 2. Exercising 3. Getting the right amount of sleep each night.
Here is my recipe for my morning juice. Give it a shot!
1 stalk of kale
All fresh, not canned
I peel the oranges, kiwi, and pineapple (of course), cut on the juicer and drop them in in random order. It makes enough for about 3-4 glasses of juice. Yummy!

As a band member, a phrase was instilled in us very early on that spoke to how we should approach time management. The phrase: “To be early, is to be on time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is to be absent!” It is a phrase that has stuck with me for years and that I practice even today I wake up no later than 5:30am; even on the weekends. I exercise, write on my blog, check emails and more. When I go to an interview or to work, I get there early so that I can get certain things done before anyone else gets in.
Here’s the thing: when you wake up early, you’re making a decision to be more productive than anyone else, before anyone else. We all have the same amount of hours in each day. Use them! Also, there’s no feeling like having things done completely and still having a large chunk of day left to do more things or get ahead on more things. Being early greatly increases your productivity and being productive is a key to success!

There are times when things are bad and then there’s the bottom. The bottom is where you feel helpless AND hopeless. When you feel like your loudest screams aren’t heard. When your cries aren’t seen, aren’t cared about, aren’t felt, aren’t understood. The bottom is a pit. It’s dark down there. In those times when you hit the bottom, not when you feel bad, but when you hit the bottom! It is at this time that you find your True Self. In this quiet and hopeless place you will discover YOU and find out what exactly you’re made of. Who are you? Are you a helpless and hopeless pitiful person? Or are you a flower that will grow in any situation. A perseverant pursuer that will never give up on his/her goal. An intelligent scientific thinker that can figure out the most confusing topics including figuring out who you are. You are a light the shines through the darkest moments, an extra push when you can’t push any further! You are a GREAT person and don’t let anyone tell you other wise!
It’s time to get off the bottom and look up, stand up, and rise up! There’s no where to go from here but up!
NOW GET UP!!
I was never the most intelligent person in school, but I always a “good enough” student. I was not a trouble maker and I always did my work pretty well. School would get bland very quickly for me, but there were two things that I could always reach out to to keep me motivated.
1. Music – Whether it was a song on the radio, or a song that I was playing in the band, I would always make up new lyrics and make it funny to me. For example, if the song was “Let’s get it started!” I would change the words to “Somebody farted!” LOL! Helped that bland time become more enjoyable indeed!
2. Invisible Competitor – I always made it a point to find a person in each of my classes to compete with. Not the most intelligent person there, but a person who had a grade close to mine or a friend of mine. They never knew it, but I would use them as a measuring stick to beat in homework, tests, quizzes, and so forth. I would ask them what they made on tests and such and compare. I tell you, it really kept me on my toes.

What’s good my People!!
Keene Walker is a premiere speaker in the US and he often speaks about schooling vs. education. In this he notes that true education does not come by simply being in attendance at school. It doesn’t even come by completing your work and graduating.
A TRUE education comes from having a desire and a love for something that you will do anything in your power to learn everything that there is to know about it. Your desire is flame that is sparked by love. I need you to love your craft! Love your craft so much that you know everything about it! Do you want to play basketball? Don’t just play with friends, but play with friends, enemies, strangers, and your family. Compete with everyone that you can and show them how much you LOVE basketball!
What are the things that you love? I mean, REALLY love?

A Great Morning Good Peeps!
“If you can manage your time, you can do anything.” These were the words from a principal that I had the pleasure to work under. This words stuck with me because they are matter of fact and true. It’s a simple concept that we allow ourselves to complicate. One fun way to increase your productivity and manage your time better is to create an incentive for each task that you complete. If you complete your chores, you can watch an hour television. Take out the trash and enjoy a snack or two. However you choose to make time management interesting, be sure to learn it, own it, live it, and be it so that you can master it and have it become a part of you! Ya Dig?

My Exercise Routine
What’s Going On My Good People!!
Getting into exercise is not easy. Your brain will trick you into staying comfortable. I had to trick myself into working out! First I had to find some people to workout with. Not trainers! Not those muscle bound guys always yelling at you to lift cars. Not those guys, but I mean people just like me. regular Joe Schmoes that work everyday, eat good, and are looking to get into a better habit of healthy living. I found those people in some close friends of mine. They were already starting their routines and I joined in. Each Saturday we hiked Stone Mountain here in Atlanta, GA. Then we challenged each other workout calendars (Burpees, push ups, sit ups, etc.). We would record our exercises, post them on Facebook, and challenge each other to keep up! What I found doing this is that it became less about working out and more about fellowshipping with my friends. The good part is that I am also becoming more healthy and keeping toned so that I can put on great performances at schools! I want you to get started exercising. Do some fun things and make sure you sweat, but most of all make sure you workout with friends. It will make all the difference!

What if I told you that your teacher doesn’t matter. What if I told you that it is ALL UP TO YOU to pass a class? How would you do it? What steps would you take to pass that class?
I believe that you would do a few of the following things:
1. Eliminate Excuses – You’ll stop saying what you can’t do and start figuring out how YOU CAN do it
2. You will work, read, and study like never before so that no one can tell you what you DON’T know.
3. You will dare anyone to challenge your knowledge on the subject so that you can prove your worth to those that doubt you.
4. You will learn about the subject in diverse ways so that you can understand all angles of thought about the subject
5. You will, lastly, realize that you can do these things right now and be greater than you’ve ever been before….
So how about it?
